It is important that learning to drive should be a pleasant and happy experience and one you should look back on with fond memories not a dull mindless drudge. It has been proven that if the pupil ( no matter what the subject ) is relaxed and enjoying themselves they will learn more quickly, retain the information more readily and for longer.To this end I use a teaching method described as a coaching for my pupils and is in line with the teaching /coaching principles as prescribed by the new EU Hermes project. I use the system designed by eDriving Solutions (e-Learning)and highly approved by the DSA in their Modernising Driver Training Campaign for their on line theory and hazard perception modules which are all free to my pupils.
I am ,with the help of my MP. Mr Gregory Barker,trying to change the current system so that candidates must produce their Insurance documents for the driving test. We have over 8,000 fraudulent tests taking place each year and the DSA have repeatedly refused to consider asking for the documents as they claim it would take too long. There are thousands of people taking tests each year with NO insurance and this must change for all our sakes.
